I like to read GOOD news. Thanks, Cal. It's time that countries who are home to the last surviving Tigers and other big cats become responsible for their survival.

Hope to hear of a success on this one. Those last vestiges of enviroment that remain for our remaining animals need to be guarded & protected. Our human species takes up more than its share & look what we have done to Our Mothers' creatures & her world.

thats great! !!could they also put fences around these areas where tigers and other animals live so that these idiotic hunters/poachers cannot hurt these animals.and these poor animals do not wander off and enter villages where they could get hurt or killed..

Cal i'm thrilled to hear this news! Thank you so much ...

"[Our efforts to fight tiger crime] must not just result in seizures - they must result in prosecutions, convictions and strong penalties to stop the flow of contraband," said John Scanlon, Cites secretary general.

"If we get the enforcement system right for the tiger, we will help save countless other species together with their ecosystems."

They should have gotten tough decades ago. To me tough is the death penalty. Make those who are involved in the industry, if it's worth their lives.
