Mixing politics with policy, President Barack Obama returned to North Carolina on Wednesday to step up his wooing of this key election-year swing state and to propose new federal incentives to spur "clean energy" vehicles.

Obama finally found his voice and is certainly doing whatever he can for this country, in spite of the Greedy Obstructionists PARTY OF NO! I just hope he continues after he's re-elected.

He's the first President we've had in awhile who isn't in the OIL COMPANIES' pockets!

Yay! Now if we take away the oil subsides and give them to companies that develop clean energy I'll be a happy little camper! Thanks for sharing this, Cal!

That'd be great. There should be a credit of some sort for using bikes or public transportation as well.

Good for him. Now if he can convince the oil $$ polluted minds of the repugs to gut the oil subsidies, we could be in great shape in a few years. Alas, it'll never happen until the people wake up and vote these oil money-grabbing politicians out of office.

I'd like to see this happen. We bought a Honda Insight in 2010 and I hoped we would get some type of tax credit but nope - apparently it did qualify. At 50 miles per gallon highway it really should!

This nation is drowning in 15 trillion dollars in debt.
King Barack the Corrupt takes more money out of the federal treasury.
What an idiot!

I think this is a good thing, at least he is not giving tax credits to the rich and greedy powerful companies. Thanks Cal

Excellent - Germany and Sweden, two of the world's greenest countries are doing VERY well - why doesn't the rest of the world follow them in green policies and in prosperity!
