Thanks Cal! Signed and posted to FB, too. I received an email from Shell Oil the other day...now I can't find it, LOL. It was touting how they are such good stewards of nature and know just what they are doing drilling in the arctic. I guess I published it on one of the other petition articles....I was appalled by their self-delusions. Talking as if they were an actual PERSON. Corporations now talk to us as if that's what they are. Be afraid, America!!!

We wouldn't need to drill if oil companies weren't exporting117 million gallons of fuel to Asia, Europe, and Latin America per day. The largest export product in the US is oil !!! The government should protect our natural habitates and make the oil companies keep the oil they pump here in the US. Havs the government heard of export tariffs? And stop using corn in ethanol! When the subsides were not renewed, gas went up $.10/ gallon in NC. Why use a product that uses MORE fossil fuels to make than the gasoline it is supposed to replace? Have you noticed how much corn has gone up? 78% in the last 3 years.

Thanks for helping to stop Shell from drilling in the Polar Bear Seas!
We’ve sent your letter to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, urging him to deny Shell the final permits it needs to drill in the Polar Bear Seas.

Big Oil has 'no' reputation for their care and consideration of ANYONE.
However, Shell has one of the worse records, concerning their treatment of their employees, especially in Africa. The information is easily accessible.

SHELL IS SUING CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY and other eco groups now!!!! I just received an email From Ctr for Bio D asking for a donation to their legal defense. I so wish to help, but am basically unemployed for a very long time now! SHAMEFUL GREED goes against LIFE. Creating life involves initiation of Spirit, Material, Energies, Intelligence, Intent, etc, + is incredibly sacred and irreplaceable, and yet, is dismissed as undeserving of the special reverence it deserves. Why do men not think?

Signed! And as I got to know, Shell Oil - quite without shame - sued environmental groups who defend our earth against robbery. If I had still a car, I would know what to do when I had to tank it up! No doubt I would only pass by and find another gas station.

Oil Companies, are the most destructive, uncaring, money hungry companies on this planet!!! We are the dumbest creatures on this earth to let them get away with it, over and over again!!!!!!!

If any of us did something that contaminated the environment to any degree we would go to prison. Big oil has all the research available to it that points toward a track record leading to disaster and yet they get a pat on the back and a go ahead. If they spill, well okay a few fines and a big clean-up and it's business as usual. Shouldn't these people go to jail too? I'll bet if you changed the oil in your car and dumped it in a pond, you'd get prison time for environmental contamination. The big industry people never really get punished.

Noted and signed with pleasure. Money is the only things that matters to oil companies. Destroying nature and animals is simply secondary. Unimportant. Horrible mentality.

THE GREED OF HUMANS IS SO TWISTED THAT THEY ARE INDIFFERENT TO ANY ANIMAL'S LIFE BUT THEIR OWN. WE CANNOT LET 'SHELL' DRILL IN THE POLAR BEAR'S HABITAT. IT IS BAD ENOUGH THAT GLOBAL WARMING IS DRIVING THEM INTO EXTINCTION. LEAVE THE BEARS ALONE!
