Occupy changed over the winter from outdoor camps to internal work and debates. But that laid the groundwork for a very big spring. Here's what to expect.

You want my respect, fly the flag properly. There is an old saying: Don't s**it where you eat. Your Americans. act like one - you will get greater support from people who think you're nothing but fly by radicals.

Touche" my friend. For the first time in many years America is seeing what it means to have true patriots working to take back what is being stolen from US!

You want my respect Allen stop being condescending!

That flag, which "I FLY PROUDLY EVERY DAY" and have for years now, represents those who have shed their blood, sweat and tears for her.

Those are the people, veterans, "We" should be protecting, not the flag, which is only a symbol.

What good is the flag if what it is suppose to stand for is being ripped away from US? Wake up!

Thank you Cal. As usual your ahead of the curve with your offerings..

I am with Occupy; yes there are some things I don't agree with. But as a whole; it is a message that says We want fairness and we want change and we want to be heard and have had enough of being trampled on by the 1%.

Well, I moved my money from a big bank to a credit union and have also joined many of our local protests. Our Occupy is still occupying a couple parks, having daily GA's, feeding many people, and e.mailing daily newsletters. I've donated some items and intend to take them more. If only all of us gave a bit of support any way we can, it will help more than you think. And, spread the word! Occupy is alive and living in many cities and towns---not only throughout America, but the world. They have my full support.

Well said Barbara, March 15, 2012, 1:02pm comment.

Flying the American flag upside down is indeed a type of SOS signal. Section 8a of the United States Flag Code states, "The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property."

As millions loose their homes from the scams by Wall St. and the Bankers
As millions loose their jobs due to the greed of a few at the expense of the many
As 57,000 DIE each year simply due to having no medical insurance
As our Hospitals are now treating children for STARVATION

I'd say, many of the citizens of this Country are in need of the SOS....

As......They meet criterea of:

dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property

Oh yes, let us not forget to mention the Veterans that DIE for the Greedy Ones, the LIES to go to War. Let us not forget the Veterans who are forgotten, can't access the job market, are denied medical care or on long wait lists, are homeless and freezing in the elements.

I think even they......would consider this an SOS time.
