Noted. I guess it's not enough to spread the hate here; they feel the need to spread the hate worldwide. Sigh....

Good! I hope they win, though i don't know how they'll manage it without being in danger themselves..
This hateful POS just had to go to where he knew he'd have alot of people cheering him on...all just as ugly and meanspirited, spewing hate like him.
How i pray for all those in the GLBT community there...this is a life and death issue!!!

There is a very powerful and well connected evangelical group in Washington DC, called "The Family", I think, who have members as elected members of Congress, that have been sponsoring these evangelical missionaries in Uganda. They were promoting a law in the country that would have punished homosexuality with death.

I have no sympathy for this predatory scumbag who deserves far worse than a lawsuit.

"encouraging local Christian groups and politicians who in 2009 tabled a bill proposing the death penalty for homosexuals."

++++++++++++++++ Although it doesn't say just what he's encouraging them to do....it doesn't sound like the loving Jesus we all grew up with, does it?

It seems inconsistent that, having a mythology that allegedly promotes love and peace, Christians in reality seem to spend most of their time spreading bigotry and hate. Why?

Hooray - how can we help the folks who are suing this hate-monger? Please add info in case we would like to contribute to their legal fund!

Senator James Inhofe (Mr Anti-climate Change) of Oklahoma and member of The Famiy, has been to Uganda several times spouting off about the gay issue. He's found a safe forum to spread hate for gays.

So,now people can sue someone for a hate crime just beacause they do not agree with what they say. That is bullshit. He should have the right to say whatever he wants. His free speech and freedom of religion should not be violated. That would be like me trying to sue someone because they say that they don't like rastafarians, because I am one. This is just as ridiculous. He was merely stating what the Bible says about it.You don't have to agree with it,but to sue him because you don't agree with him is absolutely ridiculous.

If The phelps gang seem to be immune under free speech provisions ,,this "evangeist would seem to be just as safe.. though he stir the winds of hell up in provocation.God help America.

It's not enough that he spews his hatred here but he has to go into another country and incite people over there, in the name of Christianity.
Anyone that teaches hatred instead of love of all and peace, needs to be sued.
