Despite borrowing a few of the Occupy movement's favorite slogans, the massive and controversial effort known as the 99% Spring is coming from the institutional left.

“This spring we rise!” write 99% Spring organizers in a letter to “America.” “We will reshape our country with our own hands and feet, bodies and hearts. We will take non-violent action in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Gandhi to forge a new destiny one block, one neighborhood, one city, one state at a time. We are the 99%. For the 100%. And this is our moment.”

From other articles I've read, I think uniting all the disenfranchised people of the world can only bring about a fresh new day. It will take time, effort and dedication, it will take all us being involved to form a new context for universal human rights, it will take brother/sister hood to a new level.

Sending a Green Star is a simple way to say "Thank you"
You cannot currently send a star to Cal because you have done so within the last week.

From the Occupy protests where I have made soy butter and jelly sandwiches to be served with a beverage to many of the many, I believe the Occupy protests, the 99% movement and even Anonymous are different entities that share a profound commitment to similar goals.
