In Papua New Guinea (PNG), which has no national power grid but large river systems and abundant sunshine, renewable energy has tremendous potential to transform remote rural lives with clean and sustainable electricity.

Sustainable energy for any part of the Planet, is sustainable energy for all of the Planet.

I wasn't able to access the article, but I'm certainly glad that an area with abundant sources of renewable energy is taking the initiative to harness it! It's so nice to know that Big Oil won't be destroying yet another piece of our world and polluting the environment in the process!

A good example of "give a man a fish, it will feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for life" A great story and one which many organisations should take note of!
