Thirteen Canadians were peacefully arrested this weekend for blockading Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railway tracks in order to prevent the passage of coal from the United States and destined to be burned in Asia.

Kudos to these brave souls put their words into actions to keep the media aware that it isn't our own energy needs being served by those who want to strip environmental protections while accessing natural resources...

Very brave people indeed. This is an issue in which both sides feel passionately. They could have been harmed, but thankfully weren't. Bless them.
