The Prince of Wales has launched a campaign to save the future of fish and chips as he warned of the "dire" consequences of over-fishing.

Alas, Charlie is getting senile. It is not what he does. It is how he does things. His flower 1970's campaign in the middle of the IRA bombings all over England was the first evidence of early onset dementia.

Slightly surprised that Prince Charles has even heard of fish and chips! I guess that it reminds us not to take anything for granted.

I remember in my non vegan days eating fish and chips in London. The Prince English-of course he knows that fish and chips are. They take away your citizenship id you don't know what fish and chips are. Fisherman like to blame the depletion of fish on seals and other animals but it is people who are guilty as always.

He should launch a campaign to ban fox hunting.

It's not supposed to be entertaining Veronique. It is about low numbers of fish due to overfishing. There is nothing funny about that.

Great. Good to know that there are authorities concerned.

Simple, straight forward truth about England's fishing industry. You cannot fault the man for speaking the truth.
We in the West have no conception to how much cod is fried in the UK in fish&chips shops. This British staple of fish eating is probably equaled to the countries of Scandinavia.

Nice to see that the Prince of Wales is keeping involved with the Fishing Industries and sustainability of fish stocks that are so important to so many countries around the world who depend on it. (...must admit I love English style fish & chips... but they are only a once in a while treat).
Noted with thanks Cal.
