Godspeed to Chen and his family, and may those left behind be free of any reprisals.

While I don't agree with the tactics the Chinese Government uses to enforce the one-child policy, and I do think Chen's work to change that for the better is a worthwhile effort, I also think that the over-population issue needs to be addressed. We can cry out against forced abortion and forced sterility, but we must also cry out against those in all countries who give birth to too many children. The children suffer, the parent(s) suffers, and the economy suffers along with the strain on the earth's resources. A child is born somewhere, every 11 seconds. That's a reality we all should keep in mind.

I think this is wonderful. I am SO happy he is here now with his family. I hope he never goes back. They have treated him like crap.

China. The ultimate capitalist nation. One corporation running it all. The future of the world I think.

Where are his wife and child, parents, brothers and sisters? Are they being held, terrorized, controlled?
