Here's a partial lineup of hired guns and organizations behind the anti-labeling advertising blitz soon to hit the California airwaves.

Hiding the truth about food ingredients never would have happened in the 1950s. There still enough rural communites, university nutritional studies, and other organization such as the Ladies Home Bureau, & 4H who had enough sway to quench this garbage. No one has as much power as Corp Amerika now.

We've been misled and lied to for decades, and because of this, Americans are fat, sick, and even babies get cancer. These things have everything to do with the ingredients in all of our products. With more public awareness and petitions, we have some hope of putting an end to so many illnesses.

What’s in our food is a bunch of junk, that’s what. Just pick up a package of literally anything, from Twinkie’s to just about anything else in our food chain and most of the food we eat is so un-natural! This is quite ironic, when one realizes that it is made in America! I learned about this a long time ago when on a trip outside the country I compared Mexican Chorizo (Sausage) to its U.S. store bought counterpart. The natural stuff was naturally flavorful while the U.S. version derived its flavor from all of the additives placed into it. No wonder, we Americans are becoming so unhealthy, our bodies are walking chemical factories! And this is apart from all the pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, in our meat, fowl, fruits and vegetables, this is so tragic!.

I consider it horrific that most industrialized nations have banned or restricted GMO food, but the US does not even require labeling it.

Buy local organic fruit & vegetables and Eat Raw Food - cooking filters out all the nutrients we need.

As Debbie says in the first comment, we have the right to know. But these big corporations have money, power, AND they think we're idiots. We'll, we've got news for them, haven't we?? WE'RE NOT!

Thanks Cal. As a California resident, I appreciate the info. Please remember the backer's of non-labling and other mis-information to consumers persons and businesses, face large life-style changes, if we consumers truly knew (some don't care or don't Want to know), what we purchase/consume in the undesirable details.

That's why I have my own grown vegetables and fruits.

Forward this one to everyone you know.....and ask them to forward it to everyone they know in CA. Print it out for your club, church, grandparents, distribute at Farmers markets. Write letters to your local paper and include the URL link. Media blast it all over your social networks, blogs, yahoo groups, etc.

all the more reason to support our local farmers and small businesses, and stop giving all our money to the big corporations.

Wouldn't it be great to boycott buying their frankenstein food for a week - organised worldwide, raid the freezer, swap with neighbours , seek out local garden growers , and eat what is in season and available - the big multinationals would get the message

not a surprise. Many of these corporations are also calling for a ban on being allowed to grow your own food and outlawing organic farming, in order to have complete domination over our food. America really is in deep trouble and so are we all if our Governments all follow suit
