CISPA gives the government, including military spy agencies like the National Security Agency (NSA), virtually unlimited powers to capture our personal information -- medical records, private emails, financial information -- all without a warrant or proper

I signed this a few days ago... but it's still a serious concern. CISPA, ACTA, SOPA, PIPA, OPEN, and similar Internet espionage 'legitimisation' scams should be destroyed on a permanent basis, their supporters hacked and defunded, and their sponsors and proponents driven from the USA in disgrace and poverty never again to touch a computer. Down with MiniTrue!

As a public librarian this law scares me! Coincidentally I'm reading 1984 again and preparing for a workshop on politics and use of language in dystopian literature.

Seems the RRW used 1984 as an operational manual.
