Maybe now he will find peace from both his past and his addiction...he seemed to be a man that was always sabotaging his own road to living as "normal" a life as he seemed to want, and jn putting the past behind and moving to a better place...R.I.P.

There is no reason for police to beat or hurt and unarmed person.
RIP Rodney.

"Why can't we all just get along?" Rodney King 1992

May he find the peace in the Spirit World that he seldom found on his Earth Walk.

The older I get, the more senseless it strikes me when anyone under 50 dies. Life is so fragile.

We learned a lot from the Rodney King incident: police are allowed to beat the crap out of you if they feel like it! I'm white and that video horrified me as it does every time I see or hear about the police acting like thugs.

And we haven't moved forward.
Police abuse is still rampant.

Hopefully he found peace in death that he couldn't seem to find in life.

when an individual becomes the face of an issue, it can be a monumental challenge to live a regular life...too bad other PDs still have similar challenges upholding the law and protecting all citizens (e.g., Oakland PD)
