The stop and frisk program in New York is not a minor problem, and does not appear to be slowing down soon. In 2011, 685,724 individuals were subjected to stop and frisk searches in New York City; of those stopped, 88% were not charged with any crime.

Action taken..
I joke about the fact i have a "I'm Getting Arrested" app on my cell phone for Occupy events, but i'd be scared to pull it out to use it in NY!

Just another way that the NYPD rousts minorities. Racial profiling is allegedly illegal, but stop-n-frisk clearly targets African-Americans.
