No words fit for print Cal!

Enough drilling period, Mother Nature is reacting from Mankind's needless stupidity! There are other things available.

this is supposed to be a world heritage site. How are they getting permission to do this. Drilling is going to cause so much damage to the wildlife . Stop it.

The world has to move away from oil. Use less oil - eg go car-free if you can ...

No more drilling. Nature has to be protected.

Is nowhere on our planet sacrosanct from the greed of man. In my view it is appalling that oil companies are permitted to go anywhere near such an important World Heritage site such as the Virunga National Park. I visited the Rwanda section of the park some 5 years ago to see and photograph the magnificent Mountain Gorillas and to think that oil extraction could be allowed in the vicinity of these endangered great apes is a tragic retrograde step. Another example of big business taking precedence over conservation and the environment.

Can nothing or no one stop the oil companies from drilling in such special places? Their should be a world wide group that just polices oil companies and the destruction they cause. A group that has the power to kick them off the land.

Oil companies have to sell their souls when they set up shop. They give up any sense of ethics and their only gods are dollar signs. Obviously devils do not only have horns but come in the shape of oil magnates. Virunga is yet another place for them on their rout to destroy all that is beautiful.
