Thanks Cal for posting the The Globe and Mail article by Nathan VanderKlippe and Dawn Walton. Shocking news and the devastation caused by this is horrible. The response by Alberta Premier Alison Redford of “In Alberta, this does not happen very often, and when it does we’re able to get a handle on it quickly,” she said, adding she believed “the situation is in hand.” is typical of government officials in Canada and the US. Green energy is the only way to stop the destruction and pollution of this planet. Read and sadly noted.

Sadly noted. The world needs to switch to renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy conservation. Use less oil - stay local, drive and fly much less, support public transit, walking and cycling groups, and encourage others to do the same.
