Noted...have been reading various tidbits about this for awhile now, but the facts in this latest one should have all of us writing our members of Congress to immediately address climate change. Drilling and fracking must end for starters. I read today that hundreds of walruses are turning up on Alaskan beaches, since the ice has melted in their previous homes. This is just one of the latest incidents of various Arctic animal "self-relocations."

Having returned home from Svalbard only last month I witnessed the many glaciers melting with icebergs forming as they broke away from the ice fields. The wildlife such as Polar bears and seals are now in a precarious situation as without the ice flow they have little chance of survival. I just hope that those countries thinking of drilling for gas and oil in this precious environment will think again.

We are in deep trouble. We can't stop what we have done, but can slow it down. We have left the world in a terrible state for our children and we did it because of greed. Someday soon, the world government is going to have to curb human populations.

The people who can make a difference won't admit this is a problem until it's too late. This is deeply troubling.

Elle, Glad you got value from the post. I think it’s great too. And, I think people often underestimate the curiosity and adventurous spirit in these age groups!
