It is good that we can undo some of our mistakes.
We have to learn though, burning fossil fuels and excessive meat eating that force climate change already are mistakes that we may not be able to undo.
we've got to address them seriously now

Well Done!!!!

Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.
Chief Seattle, 1854

When all the trees have been cut down,
When all the animals have been hunted,
When all the waters are polluted,
When all the air is unsafe to breathe,
Only then will you discover
You cannot eat money.
Cree Prophecy

Treat the earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors
We borrow it from our Children.
Ancient Indian Proverb

The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it

How inspiring to have good news on the environmental front.

To quote Margaret Mead:
'Never doubt that a small group of people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thng that ever has.'

As a denizen of WA State who has observed these dams multiple times, I can only say I am SO PROUD of my state for doing this. But, considering the grave and increasing threats our planet is facing, it sure isn't indicative of having "turned the corner" or anything close.

But it does give a bit of hope, doesn't it.

Congratulations on a great decision, we need more of this world wide. Please take note of the comment from Anna M these words are pearls of wisdom from people who knew and understood the meaning of working with the planet and not only for themselves. We need to understand our place in the greater scheme of things and that you cannot continue to destroy habitat without it ultimately destroying us.
