This is a story about one tribal nation grappling with the stresses of life during oil time - housing, traffic, crime, crowds, their quality of life.

It's hard to look at a wealthy person in NY without having a feeling of "reflux" - I always wonder what bodies they've left in their wake and for how much! I'm sure there must be a few with "character and morality" - just haven't met them yet!

That's why I just can't invest in 401Ks, when I get down to it, I just can't do it. Everything we are fighting against is on there. Fracking companies, Monsanto, Halliburton, Rand, Big Oil & Gas, Big Ag, Big Pharma, Big Timber, Palm Oil, Investing in this crap is investing in our own demise. That's not security.

Read the article, very depressing. More unlivable, good for nothing toxified land. So much for the once-America the Beautiful. Be Addicted to Air & Water, Don't be Addicted to Oil.

It's becoming the American way. Understand, we are now the UNITED CORPORATIONS OF AMERICA, All corporations are people, and have the right to destroy the environment and indenture people, except the very rich. You have no rights, except what the Nobel men or landowners allow you.

Of course, you still have a little time to stop this. GET OUT THE VOTE Help others to do so We are in a fight for our lives and the American way of life.

Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.
Chief Seattle, 1854

When all the trees have been cut down,
When all the animals have been hunted,
When all the waters are polluted,
When all the air is unsafe to breathe,
Only then will you discover
You cannot eat money.
Cree Prophecy

Treat the earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors
We borrow it from our Children.
Ancient Indian Proverb

The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it

Fracking would not be happening at all if it were not for the billions in government subsides and tax breaks. I'd say Obama is as pro-fracking as Romney. We need neither.

North Dakota's Three Afffiliated Tribes from Ft. Berthold are getting the shaft, and being pushed around as the community is not rich. It is about time the Government rememberd Human Rights Violations. These Big Corps. have to be put in their place somehow. Hah I wonder if this Company has permission from the Canadian Government to be horizontally drilling into Saskatchewan?
Noted, and thanks for this article Cal.

You should evaluate the costs with forethought, before inviting people into your home and lives. They might be thieves, rapists and killers, even though you may be paid. Prostitution takes many forms- and there are always - prices someone, or many someones, must pay.
