Romney's Virgina speech on foreign policy was boilerplate content, with nods to the belligerent neoconservative wing of the Republican Party.

It's easy to pound your chest when you're not the one in the war zone. Romney is a hawk, thru and thru - if you want more wars, vote for him.
I'll be voting for Obama.

Ahhh, finally a REAL President AGAIN.
The majority of Americans like what Romney is saying and that is why he is 4 points up in the polls!!

At least Mitt has a set. Obama is a foreign affairs blob. After Mitt wins next month, there will be so many books being written about how lazy Obama is and all he wanted to do was smoke cigarettes and shoot hoops or go to the driving range.

I personally believe in everything Mitt stands for and thank God I'm ot alone. I'm in the majority!

having a strong military doesn't mean you are anxious to be in a war. Having a strong military speaks for itself and is a threat all by itself.

Americans want a real leader not a foreign affairs blob like Obama. Look at the polls....the nice bump Romney received after speaking at VMI laying out his plans for our country.

Meanwhile, Obama shrinks in importance.

IF the US doesn't want to descend completely into republican hell: warfare, corporate control, religious fundamentalism, and poverty, environmental devastation and crushing out of all wild and public lands, to mention just a little of the degradation toward life in hell, the Hispanic vote needs to be gotten out. This is the only group that clearly sees (if for their own reasons) that Republicans and Romney/Ryan are a dangerous mistake.

But...that's just what the Repugs want: MORE.
The U.S.A. is the lead imperialist, now, and the right wants to keep it that way, in spades, asit just makes them richer, at whomsoever's expense they don't care.

Let wild beast (Romney/ Ryan) run loose.

No World Peace = Heighten Unstable of citizens living and working outside USA = US Passports become target and bill board shooting to eyes of "American label as Terrorist" family (kill by US empirical war for constant thirst of suppression and power) threaten by US military abuse and bloodshed on foreign soils.

Never ending of harmony and peace.

Dear Diane O.. So you're ready to let Romney & the Repugs take away all your & your family's & friends' women's rights.. that were so hard-fought for..equal pay for equal work, preventing pregnancy, and being forced to carry & bring into the world a child of rape or incest?! I don't understand how any woman is supporting Romney other than his wife, mother & femaile relatives!! Just amazing..are you ready to go back to the dark ages, as that is where females will be if this party wins..oops, I meant..BUYS this election! :( Are you totally brainwashed or what!?

Linda, nowhere does it state that Romney will be taking away women's rights. That doesn't exist. Are you talking about people paying for abortions for all women when it is against their religion to murder an unborn child? Romney isn't taking away equal pay for equal work. Preventing pregnancy? Nowhere can anyone prevent any woman from practicing birth control.

Romney isn't buying this election. Obama just pulled in $181 million. Who is doing the buying?

I believe women should be able to do whatever they want to with their bodies. Absolutely. However, if they want an abortion they can pay for it themselves. If they want to use birth control they can visit their gynecologist and get a prescription for whatever it is they feel is right for them and their lifestyle. I don't have a problem with that. If a woman has been raped and it has been qualified she should be able to get an abortion paid for by her insurance company However, if a woman, like some will do, wants to use abortion as a birth control method then the taxpayers shouldn't be paying for it.

This is where I stand. I am a personal responsibility American. Women need to take responsibility for their personal choices. Having sex without protection? Oh, well. She shouldn't make her problem someone else's problem.

So, Linda, please don't say that Romney is against women's rights. Because when you do you aren't telling the truth. What you are really saying is that someone else should pay for it. That's wrong. Personally I don't believe in abortion so I don't want to pay for them. It's none of my business how other people feel about it. It becomes my business when my tax dollars pay for it.

Yes, I'm more than ready to elect Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to get Obama and Biden out of Washington. Obama supports "late term" abortion. How bad is that? Pretty bad. So, I'll vote for the Mormon and his family values.

1. More American Meddling Around the World

“When Romney says “the 21st century can and must be an American century” and that is the U.S.’s responsibility to steer the world towards “the path of freedom, peace, and prosperity,” that’s code for the maintenance of U.S. hegemony. Romney still believes that the U.S. should be able to shape the world as we see fit--the rest of the world who refuses to go along with it be damned.”
By any other name, this is Manifest Destiny! American colonialism! American imperialism! If Romney truly wants to keep the US secure, dictating terms, being the world’s Bully-in-Chief is not the way to do it.

2. Belligerence Towards Iran

“I will not hesitate to impose new sanctions on Iran, and will tighten the sanctions we currently have. I will restore the permanent presence of aircraft carrier task forces in both the Eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf region,” said Romney.
And that approach will open up war with many nations, including Pakistan who is already nuclear weapons capable. Again, Romney is a BULLY and only understands a bully’s approach. His idea of diplomacy is to have nations looking down the barrel of the US’s biggest guns!

3. Increased Military Spending

“The world Romney wants to see is one where militarization increases and armament makers profit more. . . .
As for the rest of the world, Romney wants the same: an increase in spending on militaries at a time of austerity and budget cutting that is wreaking havoc on the lives of Europeans. “
And if those allies don’t agree with his policies and aims, what will Romney do? In essence Romney’s overall plan is to allow the military-industrial complex profit more by spending more and putting social programmes in the dumpster --- encouraging more poverty, less education, and no healthcare.

4. Neoliberal Trade Agreements

“I will champion free trade and restore it as a critical element of our strategy, both in the Middle East and across the world,” said the former Massachusetts governor.

The Outsourcer-in-Chief has spoken.

5. More Military Assistance to Israel

“This military aid would be sent with a blank check. Romney vowed … “the world must never see any daylight between our two nations.” … no matter what Israel did with U.S. weaponry, a Romney administration would never criticize the state publically. This has largely been the stance the U.S. has taken in recent history, and it has been catastrophic for the people of Palestine and Lebanon.”
I was reminded recently of the Menachem Begin – Anwar Sadat peace treaty back in 1979 that promised so much hope for an end to war between Israel and Egypt. Sadat said “Let us put an end to wars, let us reshape life on the solid basis of equity and truth. …” Whatever happened to that hope? Netanyahu, Romney’s old friend Bibi, is a warmonger as is Romney and with the two of them together, there will only be saber rattling and war. I believe in a free and peaceful Israel and a free and peaceful Palastine. With Romney lurking about the Middle East, that will never happen.

Get out the vote!!!!! Four more years!!!!!

Vote Democratic 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

Let the people speak this time and hope it doesn't go to the Supreme Court or the Electoral College to be decided. I wish they would disband and nullify the Electoral College - too many partisan promises and quid pro quo in order to get that all important Electoral majority. How can that be a government for the people and by the people. It's pork politics and it stinks.

Do we really want to be the dictators of the world or do we all want to get along and make the world a better place for everyone. I say the latter.
War is not the answer.

Checked the polls lately? Swing states? It doesn't look good for an incumbent president. In fact, it looks dismal for Obama.

Obama, as a community organizer, was never presidential material. He was elected for all the wrong reasons. He didn't win by a landslide in 2008. He took 53% of the votes. What we know is that those who voted for McCain won't be voting for him next month. We know the Jewish community will stand by Israel and Obama's blatant snubbing of this country. Our independent voters are leaning Romney and Obama's african american base is not happy with Obama.

So, from where I sit, Romney has all the advantages to win. ObamaCare is not popular and the American people know that once in office Romney will repeal and start over with a plan that our country can actually afford in the long run. You elected an incompetent in 2008. He was always going to be a one term president.

I have to hand it to you, Diane. You are indefatigable! Mitt should put you on his payroll because you are most certainly his biggest advocate and most faithful fan! Unfortunately, most of what you say in his defense either can't be proven or has been proven false by the most reputable fact-checking sites, but that never keeps you from shaking your pom poms and repeating those tired old cheers. Was Mitt your first choice during the Republican presidential nominations?

What bothers me most is:

**Mitt hasn't yet presented a plan.
**Mitt hasn't shared his tax returns.
**Mitt thinks that 47% of this country's population is made up of "freeloaders."
**Mitt is a religious man, yet he lies through his teeth with no guilt or remorse.
**Mitt prefers "bullying" to diplomacy.

I could go on and on...

A Conversation--
Person 1: The military will bring this country down. Person 2: That is usually what brings a country down.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Candidate Wrongney said at beginning of campaign that he wants to increase the bloated, incompetent US military by 100,000. Would you prefer to pay for that, or have the $ spent on bridge repair.
