From record heat waves to increasingly powerful storms, crushing droughts to unprecedented flooding, the impacts of climate change are now squarely being felt by all Americans. Yet, amazingly, the clear and present danger of carbon-poisoned weather remain

This is the elephant in the room. Everything else is of little importance compared with this issue.

Now I signed..and I will always sign any logical petition, demanding recognition of Climate change and global warming...because it is just as important as nuclear weopens.....which is what tonights debate was "centered upon"...but after watching the debate......Romney will give up all enviroment to dirty energy....(Koch Brother's, Bushes & Cheney!!, as Our President, stated as to their policys..and said "WE can not go back to these!!...just how many times did our President talk about "clean energy", that the new policys and direction in education and JOBS is about this!!!???!..LOTS!!!! (count= I don't know, I was ACTUALLY LISTENING!!!)...rOMNEY = A BIG O, A BIG ZERO FOR GREEN SAFE ENERGY AND THE JOBS THAT COME FORM IT..OBAMA SAID 800,000 JOBS COMPARED TO ROMNEY'S 12,000 JOBS...WELL SIMPLE MATH MY FRIENDS.................OBAMA 2012!!!!!!
(now it did twist my gut , personally, everytime he said natural gas and nuclear, BUT HE IS THE ONLY ONE FOR THE "GREEN"!!!....ROMNEY IS A RENAGADE PALIN, JUST ANOTHER KOCH BROTHER PUPPET!!!
iF YOU CHECK THE FACTS!!!!...PLEASE DO!!!..WITH EVERYTHING THE GOP HAS DONE, TO GET RID OF OBAMA...IF THEY HAD CARED ABOUT AMERICA, FIRST!!! AND FORMOST RATHER THAN THEIR OWN POCKET BOOKS AND RACIAL PREDIJUDICE, (BECAUSE THEY CAN'T BUY OBAMA!!!!PERIOD!!) ...WE WOULD BE EMPLOYED!!! THE REPUBLICANS HAVE HELD THE AMERICAN PUBLIC AND CITIZENS HOSTAGE!!!...THEY CAN'T STAND THAT OBAMA WOULD AND COULD BE BETTER FOR OUR NATION THAN ROOSEVELT EVER DREAMED and as He dreamed!!!....because it is 2012!!!....it is the Republicans in our Congress, both House & Senate, States that sold their Citizens First Responsability to the Koch Brothers, Alec owned and operated by the Koch Brothers!.........check the facts...VOTE OBAMA 2012!!!

Eco-conscious viewers' thought processes while waiting to hear the term "climate change" during debate..."Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Ah! Nothing!!" The great thing about the two party regarding the environment is that voters always have the choice of "nothing" vs "next-to-nothing"...either way it's not enough.

Nope, and I guess even if it were it would be dodged like the question on women's issues.

I don't know when this issue might be addressed at this point, and I'm disappointed that it didn't get the attention it deserves. I signed the petition with the hope that it will be addressed in all future debates. In the meantime, we need to keep creating and signing the petitions and contacting our representatives with our views and hope that the squeaky wheel gets the oil. (Did I say "oil"? Why does it have to be "oil"?)

It seems to me that both candidates have actually said what they plan: all of the above energy policy. Except Romney's party wants to kill the EPA and build the Keystone pipeline. It seems most Americans are more concerned about getting cheap energy (read gas) than letting the environment go to hell.

Global warming is a myth. This is why the democrats aren't pursing any longer.

I'm sick of the Koch brothers and other overly-rich science deniers controlling the nation's climate change/energy agenda. Noted and signed, thanks, Cher.

They know all about global warming and climate change, scientists have known this for years and have made them aware - whose paying them to keep quiet I wonder?
