wise people have told us: LEAVE URANIUM IN THE GROUND,where it belongs.

"Uranium causes somatic and genetic damage. We know it for ~200 years, since the time of Dr. WHO??? of U.of Tübingen(?), Germoney. At that time radioactivity was not known. Dr. WHO??? talked about "most dangerous of all chemical substances" that he studied "being Uranium." -- Dr.A.D.i an DN!-i'view

" The probable fate of our species is extermination by poisoning. "
-- Rosalie Bertel (epidemiologist)
-- -- quoted in "What We Leave Behind", 2009, (a *highly* recommendable book) by Derrick Jensen and Aric McBay
currently (or a few years back), 'only' every second (in US and EU) can look forward to being diagnosed with Cancer ...
if humankind continues to poison Earth as it has done for decades, it won't be long until just about everyone HAS Cancer ...

*Sorry I can't send a green star to Cal or Frack since I sent one in the past week.
"Despite public outcry...." what does the public have to do? Are we completely powerless in the face of these greedy, inhuman corporations? Are they just going to steamroll over us? Aren't the people in charge of them worried about their own families' health and welfare? Do they have an exit plan when they're done contaminating everything between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans?!

Thank you for the post. I would just say that Virginia would be making a major mistake in mining uranium. And they thought 31 inches of rain was bad.
