You think so? One word in the title should be change from "Could" to "Probably Will" and it would be so much more accurate..

You expected them to be progressive? This was the whole idea of the jokers at Foggy Bottom whose best laid plans always gang awry. This is going to be a blood bath with the strongest taking control and brutally suppressing all dissenting voices. It will be a Sunni regime as was planned but it will be anything but pro American or democratic. Didn't they know Islamic countries don't work that way? Jeesh!

Do not expect to deal with a positive change in who passes. A Turkish proverb: Incoming seeing a lot to look for outgoing. Egypt has won the Ignorance. Not to mention the spilled blood of the innocent.

The Syrians only have to look to Egypt and their political, social disaster. Why did it happen? Because Syrian rebels are just as unorganized as the Egyptians; making the population targets for extremists to jump right in.
