Think of 2013 as the Year Zero in the battle over climate change, one in which we are going to have to win big, or lose bigger

"Or rather, it was we who were calibrated to its generous, even bounteous, terms."

+++++++++++++++ There's the truth! EVERY LIVING THING EVOLVED TO FIT THIS WORLD. What do you think will happen when that world changes beyond recognition?

Nonsense Global Warming started occuring(when we, at least, took serious notice) started in the very early 1990's. It was taught and discussed in colleges, then.

"This is not just an issue for environmentalists who love rare species and remote places: if you care about children, health, poverty, farmers, food, hunger, or the economy, you really have no choice but to care about climate change."

Noted w/thanks, Cal. Despite being ignored by most of the media, this movement is growing and thriving as fact and information are shared and spread. Whether our part in it is large or small, we must continue on, despite setbacks. Those should only make us stronger and more determined. I'm in "for life" to battle those who insist on destruction, with greed and power as their motivation.

Sadly noted. Rebecca has stated the problem
quite eloquently.
