Fluctuating weather and warmer temperatures mean soon you may have to pay more for your favorite Bordeaux -- if you can find it.

now thats a REAL Threat at last ! Who cares about a few(100)mio brown (not-quite-)people drowning. But now danger of running short of some kinds of the much-fetishized idiot-drug-#2 ... HOW HORIBLE !

But then, it's just France -- maybe e.g. Greenland can take simply over and improve the busine$$, soon.

Many things are at risk now. We had better get moving on green energy and get off fossil fuels ASAP!!

My thoughts exactly. If anything will get the 1% on board with climate change, this will be it. They don't give a fig about people, but you better not mess with their wine. Imbeciles.

If you don't believe in global warming perhaps you believe in French wine.

I agree with those that have commented on the fact that there are more important aspects of global warming but the underlying principle is of course that the weather is changing and that this will affect the production of crops amongst which will be wine. The idea that England might start growing wine is quite an interesting one, wine has been grown in England for the better part of two thousand years. It is now being grown commercially, albeit on a smallish scale and it is excellent; this could be because parts of Kent (SE England) have similar soil and climate to Epernay (where Champagne comes from). English wine (that is wine made from grapes grown and fermented in England) should not be confused with British wine which whilst more freely available is a totally different product and can be made from grape juice grown anywhere (often in Spain).

If its not French wine it's maple syrup. I do agree that climate change is occurring and maybe if the powers that be don't have their wine, well maybe they'll just get to it.

Climate change could/does affect so many things. Need to get off fossil fuels and adopt clean ways of energy.
