Thanks for the post Cal, by now you probably know this is one of my "pet" issues! I don't understand the mentality of the moguls who do this to the planet - don't they have families? - Sure I'm greedy too - but I don't conduct false health impact studiest sand pass regulations to advance my greed - I don't tell the Senators how to vote - I don't' represent the big bucks to advance my own murderous and treasonous agenda - they are poisoning the citizens of this country as well as the population ot the planet. When will the people hold these people accountable - I don't care if it takes a world-wide revolt (which it may) - Exxon - Shell - hundreds of subsidiaries whose names hardly any of us would recognize (not to mention Monsanto, but that's a different story!) -- they must be stopped! They own our government - the President and the governors of every state must contend with these monstrous empires whose weath is far greater than most countries combined! - They conduct a propaganda machine to expoit their endeavors convincing most cheeple that their way is the saving grace! Sorry for my rant I get too damned mad!!

Energy independence Bullpuckey. Of course we'll be in the Middle East forever with the permanent, massive compounds BushCo/Cheney installed there during the Iraq War. It's what the Iraq Earcwas all about of course.

If you're wondering why the Mississippi is being closed down due to extremely low levels of water; look no further than the 37 Billion gallons of water used by the natural gas and the tars sands industries. When they run out of water they'll probably switch to the oceans - lots of water!

"You can hear it, you can smell it, and you are always breathing it. It's just like being behind a car exhaust," said Debbie Leverett, during a tour of the area last October organized by the Society of Environmental Journalists. "All of your senses change." That just about says it all!

Even states with bills in place are having a hard time with disclosure of chemical. There is a big fight going on in the western part of my state and a disclosure bill before the house. HB3055. Wyoming , Michigan and Texas have stopped them for now. I do believe the Mississippi is being fractured from the North and we the suckers are paying for it and not asking our congress people to do anything. If you live in a state you have people in congress that work for you. Ask questions and make demands. They are politicians so they love to talk and wil answer your email.

I guess the Elites won't be satisfied until the world is one parched desert landscape covered by asphalt, steel and concrete and a 500 Million population limit.
