The European Union is implementing a new border management system with tougher migration control the core aim. Major security and weapons companies are already reaping the benefits.

Yep.And nowadays more people are killed each(*) year (or is it already each month?) on EU's outside borders than at the Berlin Wall in all of it's aboninable existence.

*) many drown, some are shot, most of them un-noticed and un-reported. Captain of a ship who rescued some refugees shortly before they drowned was indicted, etc. etc. ad nauseam !

Hello, come to Europe, look around, and say nothing is needed. The problem is once you are inside Europe, it is fairly easy to move from one country to another without detection, and would you rather deal with a rogue company or nationalistic politics?

It's kind of creepy. Doesn't seem like you can go anywhere or do anything anymore without being tracked.

It's not only European defense contractors as Israel and the US have their hands in the cookie jar also. I thought the charm of Europe was it's open borders? I am very sad to hear about this but at least I know. Thank you Cal, Green Star to you.
