This is so not new! The refusal to acknowledge corporate greed (probably resonsible for 85% of our trouble) is making the problem only worse -- I don't know how much longer we can survive our suicidal march - but clearly the corporate power will not stop, we don't have much time left.

let us all hope Mr. Obama listens to his own scientists and pushes for big action for this big problem

Duh. It's never to late to get the ball rolling on this very important subject. Thank you.

Obama's scientists may be paying close attention, but Obama sure is not offering any immediate answers. Yes, he has imposed car emission reductions for 2018! What about diesel fuel, bus emissions? Not including the whole Keystone pipeline issue. Where does he stand on fracking?
He has yet to make a commitment to a nationwide effort to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels - the pipeline shows this.

We should be doing all we can to halt climate change/global warming. It is/will be so tough on humans and other life forms.

The future is now; this planet is the only home that any of us have. We have got to demand radical action if any of us are to survive what's coming.
