Thanks, Roe v Wade really has very little to actually do with abortion per se. It has more to do with the 9th and 14th amendments and the right of due process, and does the issue fal into a federal or state regulation.

While in Chile, I learned that, should a pregnant woman take a trip out of the country and return no longer pregnant....SHE CAN BE PROSECUTED! The assumption is that she had an abortion!

We thought we could relax after Roe V Wade.....obviously, we were wrong. Sanctimonious anti-choicers just love to insert themselves into our bodies.

And yes...I mean that JUST the way it sounds!

Noted. Thanks, Cal. Just wondering if all women in those countries are treated the same. Often, those who are wealthiest can keep things hidden "under the radar."

1 million women a year in Latin America and the Caribbean need hospital treatment as a result of complications from backstreet abortions. That is exactly why we need to protect our right to abortion whether we personally ever expect to use this right ourselves. For some women it just isn't an option to keep the pregnancy and the cost to them and others of shonky abortions is just heartbreaking.

Noted, it's sad that at this day and age so many women have no control over their own bodies and needs.

Sad to think that women are treated so poorly. Ones who can't continue due to health and other issues. Espeically in countries where they are raped. They too should have the right to terminate an unwanted pregnacy without any questions asked. Thanks Cal
