It breaks my heart to see that picture. Mali looks so sad. Elephants are family orientated and pack animals. They need each other. I hope the people respond kindly to our petition and sends Mali to a happier place.

This wonderful animal has endured over 30 years of the misery of neglect and solitary confinement [not even a visit from her family]. She did not commit any horrendous crime she just got captured by some Greedy humans who wanted her to make money for them. Sancuary is the very least we owe her. I pray she makes it there.
