Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Ms. Dunne. Kudos to the Combe Haven Defenders for their actions. With six of the UKs most prominent environmental groups, including Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, the RSPB, and the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) opposing it, this road project needs to be stopped and/or re-routed. Read and noted.

Noted Thaks. As I was born in England I was really overjoyed to see that the old Brits are still chaining themselves t trees and fighting for the envrionmet! How on earth do they think a little country like England can survive environmentally if they keep on destroying it in the name of 'progress!!' I supose the transport and road industry brings to much revenue to be opposed at government level!
