Signed ~ There are many women who are single parents or the only income for the family. They should be able to provide a quality life for herself and her dependents.

Is this for childless women or all women? Kids disrupt a career so some level of penalty is fair but not that which exists.

Noted, Signed, &Shared! As long as this disparity continues, and women continue to receive less pay than a man for the same of kind of work, then we cannot say that we really have a true democratic republic!

It just doesn't seem possible that women are still paid less than men for equal work of equal value these days! It certainly isn't right!

Petition signed. Here it is, 2013 and we still have this type of crap going on in our World. When are the people who run these companies ever going to grow up? When women go to college, women don't get discounts. So why is it that they should be paid less for jobs that they trained or studied for??? No sense what so ever. Thanks Cal

Your signature has been recorded. This not only affects their living standards today but well into their retirement. A lower pay means less going into their Social Security or ability to put extra money aside to go into a retirement plan. More women are trying to exist on a single Social Security check so are living on less from beginning to end of their life.
