I agree with Bloomberg ~ I've been trying to at least get styrofoam recycling started up in the my county. There's a styrofoam recycling company in Springfield, NJ.

There is a fungal based replacement for Styrofoam. Once discarded, it dissolves into the soil.

I was really angry with Bloomberg for busting up the Occupy movement in New York, but at least he is working for environmental issues! Score one for the billionaire...

This is a good start. If the Governor really wants to boost his environmental image, then perhaps he could also ban fracking in NYS.

Whatever else one may think of Bloomberg, he has put out some excellent ideas, and this is one of them. The ban on huge sized sodas is another.

Noted. I was pretty mad at the way he handled Occupy, too. I'll give him half a brownie point for this--he has a deep hole to work himself out of in my opinion.
