The bit part of the problem is that people go running to the doctor or ER for the least little sniffle. Little Johnny and Janie will be just fine if you allow their immune systems to grow and develop naturally instead of filling them with antibiotics. Viruses adapt and mutate. Our immune systems do so naturally. Change your diet and change your attitude.

We do depend far too much on antibiotics instead of allowing our natural immune systems to grow and develop natural defenses.

Noted. Interesting article...I'm one who prefers homeopathics, herbs and vitamins, too, as well as good nutrition. Considering the way diseases are mutating into "super-infections" much more research is needed.

Fascinating, hopefully these wonderful environments are not many interesting plant life found in rain forests and sea life. Many forget that over development of diverse rich environments will destroy life capable of helping others.

Don't take an antibiotic if you don't really need it. If you need it , follow directions.

Nice idea to think of completely new moelcules tto use as antibitoics, however, another question is whether the target on the bacteria is really new.

I recently read that a new antibiotic was discoverer (quite by accident) it is so strong it is able to kill antibiotic resistant Flesh Eating Bacteria. It also cures whole bunches of stuff and it has literally THOUSANDS of applications it is quite a WONDER DRUG it's fibers are so strong it might with more research and other added goodies be a whole new lightweight Kevlar. So what is this miracle amazing stuff? Well it is Cannibals, yup you heard me right. The problem is the prejudiced behind it. I'm so Proud to say that in America it has become Legal in two more states. I believe the more we research this wonder drug the more wonders we will find.
