AB 1213 is a response to the discovery of bobcat traps on the boundaries of Joshua Tree National Park. It would make it illegal to trap, import, export or sell any bobcat part or product.

Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Louis Sahagun. Kudos to Assemblyman Richard Bloom (D-Santa Monica) for introducing the bill and I do hope that AB 1213 will be passed and signed into law. Read and noted.

Noted - and so it should be - things like this in the first place should never have been allowed. However, if they put traps down so that rubbish humans get caught in them, let it be!

Thank goodness for California! Yippeeee.... again leading the way...Oregon, Cali and New York...the only States at least trying to make some sense in America...
