Dennis Rodman could play basketball, beyond that he needs to shut up. North Korea is messing in dangerous territory here, they need to back off.

Preemptive strike was a policy first formulated by the Bush administration. Apparently, the North Koreans are in trouble for adopting policies that our leaders think only our empire should hold.

Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Jack Kim and Louis Charbonneau and the video. Glad to see China is supporting a stronger resolution for a change. Read and noted.

Sometimes you need to pull out the old lump hammer when every other tool in the box don't serve, that or Beijing has to realized that the dog is waking the neighbors, and home association fees will be due soon. Time to bring the dog inside.

Let the PRC handle this one. As to Rodman we could paarchute him into Pyong Yang from a drone and leave him there with his buddy. John S. -is that the tool we use to set our watches to DST???

Meanwhile, our genius, heads-up-their-backsides Congress (with a few exceptions, of course) thinks Iran is the threat.

Kim Jong-Un and his regime really want to start growing up and behaving like civilized human beings if they want to be taken seriously as a nation, rather than play dare and scare with the rest of the world.

These maniacs are capable of anything. The more desperate they get the more dangerous they'll become.
No easy solutions unfortunately.
Interesting that Kim Jong-Un was a good friend of Hugo Chavez.

Don't underestimate fanatics. He is as crazy as Hitler was. The normal folks of North Korea have no choice but to go with all the "Leader" says.

He must be stupid not to realize his fate if he makes such an attack.

Let's turn the other cheek, pray for his soul to wizen and mellow, get the heck out of their internal affairs (I bet we're involved somehow), and try not to picture Uncle Sam stuffing his nuclear bomb up his little rosy tuckus. The idea makes me smile, but isn't "enlightened". Sorry.

What makes any one think that Un and NK are going to stop this kind of crap? After all this sort of bellicose bluster worked perfectly with the Bush Admin., to the point of allowing NK to successfully develop their nuclear program. And to be honest it is true that there is far less chance of Israel helping to proliferate nuclear weapons around the world than North Korea, the nuclear weapons programs and stockpiles of Israel and NK are equally illegal and equally add to regional instability through their war mongering. The one big difference is that at least NK openly admits to nuclear weapons while Israel continues to lie about it. and neither one of them is signatory to a single Nuclear Weapons Treaty or accord. And by the by when was the last time the IAEA inspected any Israeli nuclear facility.

Thank you for this article. Sure hoping these sanctions will be enough, and that China will back them up.
