I doubt he can do this - probably far too much pressure and back room deals, but if he does we must have his back.

Tis the opposite side of the land for this poor old soul - can't afford it -- nor can we afford this pipeline -- my atheistic prayers are with all who do attend - thanks!

I have signed all petitions I can and written to the editor of my newspaper...I feel so helpless because it's all about greedy oil money business. All I can do at this point is pray and hope we all can make a difference. Thank Cal!

read and noted on 3-21-13 keystone xl pipeline just needs to go away it's not wanted by the general public alot of citizens do not want this any where near them and we can not blame them this is trouble waiting to happen heard alot of bad things already with this pipeline it is not safe so everyone needs to contact there members in congress and the house and even the president of the united states and tell them to nix the pipeline for good a no vote for keystone xl pipeline we need to keep the pressure on them and make them see that we are standing our ground no if's or butt's about it.

This Pipeline is a Dirty Tar Sands Pipline and it could Leak, more spills and ruin the Environment, water, YOUR DRINKING WATER, our animals, our gardens, farmers land, rivers, creeks with animals. We don't need this! THE CANADIANS DON'T EVEN WANT IT! THEY HAVE SAW WHAT SPILLS RUINS THEY HAVE HAD THEM. IT IS NEVER THE SAME! WE WILL NOT BENEFIT AT THE PUMPS WITH THIS PIPELINE! IF YOU THINK YOU WILL YOU NEED TO THINK AGAIN. IT WILL BE SHIPPED OUT OF THE US. IT IS FOR OTHERS TO BENEFIT WITH $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Lucia Graves. Kudos to CREDO Action, and the Sierra Club for organizing this protest and I hope the President hears their 1,000 + voices. Read and noted with hope.

Noted. Good for those 3 groups in organizing this. I signed onto their petition awhile back, too. Wish I could make it to SF for this, but I don't even live in CA. I hope there is an enormous group protesting....they have my total support and thanks. "Edward G." had a great comment asking everyone to contact their congress critters. Phoning the White House, and logging onto and submitting a comment regarding this carries a lot of weight, too. Strength in numbers.

This pipeline will forever mark Obama as a man who sold America out to the Canadians.
