Rising temperatures will lead to a massive "greening," or increase in plant cover in the Arctic, a new research has predicted.

We have already lost the Arctic....it can't be saved. People can choose to ignore the facts/deny what's in front of them but it won't matter, really. We're seeing the beginning of the end of the world as we know it.

Thanks Cal, The inevitable has arrived. We humans accelerated this natural climate change cycle, and are now continuing the busy work of destroying most of the supports for adaptable life that we might recognize, and be able to use for our own adaptations. We have become the most destructive internal life form (perhaps a parasite/virus composite plus) generated by this planet, and that it has so far experienced.

Gee, I'd like to blame all the earth troubles on somebody's god, or lack of, but I know better.
