signed a few petitions to try to get the city to stop this slaughter, hopefully the Olympic Committee could stop the sad, maybe the residents of the city would adopt some of the strays

If there's enough press about the plan and protest from ALL countries that participate in the Olympics, I think Russia might rethink its plans. They don't want to start the Olympics on a sour note with such bad press and bad will. Let the protests begin!

It's when I read things like this that I know why I hate the majority of humans - they are the most despicable pieces of trash on this earth - they seriously do not belong here and we need to rise up against them as a force to be reckoned with. What absolutely heartless bastards - I pray that God sends some horrendous disease down upon them, that they suffer an agonising death before they have a chance to lift a hand to one of these precious animals.

I sure hope somebody can talk to the city legislatures and give them ideas for other options rather than killing all these poor animals off! By the sounds of it after the Olympics everything would go back to normal again with more unwanted dogs! they should make a stipulation if the Olympics would be held there then they do something humane for the dogs otherwise it's off! There has got to be somebody who can make an impact on them!
