The Javan ferret-badger (Melogale orientalis) is one of five species in the ferret-badger family, which are smaller than proper badgers with long bushy tails and elongated faces

What a dear little critter..poor little thing in a cage, why do people want exotic pets that should be living their lives in the wild? Most of them suffer so much in captivity.

Humans do not have the right to do most of the things we do while visiting Earth. We just choose to think, wrongly, that we do.

The exotic pet trade is awful, and so is poverty that breeds it.

Cute little fellow. Sadly these wild animals will not live too long because they are wild and they will not be taken care of. Stupid humans.

Believe me...there's nothing ''SWEET" about these animals! They're NOT domesticated and will NOT remain long in homes. They're SCENT MARKERS and they SMELL!

This is infuriating!

these guys may not be suitable as domestic animals. however in australia there is a strong argument in favour of benign indigenous animals as pets, in lieu of imported cats & dogs. the argument suggests that this would give some endangered species a better chance, and reduce the incidence of feral introduced species, which are cutting a swathe through our alresady endangered natives.

Would it be safe to us and is it human to change its living condition from the wild?
