In the US, the loggers mostly only threaten - in wild Brazil they kill because they can.

I got my action kit for the Awá...printed and postal mail works best! Try it if you can!
The indigenous people deserve RESPECT and what they OWN by being first peoples!

Thank you for the information. They have the wealth to save the Awa. I'm so glad they decided to come down from their ivory tower to help. Couldn't they sell off some of their estates and buy up the land for the Awa? If I'm right, why don't they do that quietly rather than making such a public effort. I always have the sense that they need to massage their own egos when I see "celebrities" doing things like this. Please excuse my attitude, but if the wealthiest one percent would pool a small portion of their wealth, they could save the world. How many estates, yachts, lear jets, mult-carat gemstones, Bentleys etc., etc., etc., does one need. Please! If they didn't need so much, there would not be so much real need in the world. If I had a fraction of the wealth they have, I would find a way to save the world. I would shame every last one of them into contributing to the effort. The wealthiest people rule the world. They have the power.

Noted. Would that 'celebrities' backed all of the indigenous peoples that are continuing to be displaced around the world.

The indigenous people all over the world have had their land stolen from them. If there is a dollar to be made from where the indigenous people live then, just like in the US during the US war on their indigenous people, there will be death and if those in power want it, like in the US, genocide.Hundreds of years after the Great Shame of the US eradication of millions of American Indians for their land, this horror goes on in many countries.Their governments are not going to help them and are behind it.This tribe must be protected from the rich, greedy loggers and ranchers.

If all the billionaires donated 10% of their wealth they could probably buy the forest and hardly dent their wealth.

I thought that the Sentinelese are believed to be the world’s most isolated tribe after the Bo tribe on the Andaman Islands were wiped out earlier this year (It's India if anyone cares).
