The US has perpetrated hacking attacks on "hundreds" of targets in Hong Kong and mainland China since 2009, the former CIA analyst Edward Snowden has claimed.

If one country makes a lot of noise about something like hacking the computers of another sovereign nation, you can bet that country is already engaged in hacking too. It's called projection.

And on the question of Moscow, everything has a political price. Russia is no different than the US.

ty Cal.

We've been here for very long time. . .we live in a cyber-age. 9/11 just put cyber-intel on steroids and googolplexes. ALL the players are hacking away. It's not like we were not told. The Patriot Act outlines the activity. It's been revised, gone to the Supreme Court...it's not like these issues have been hidden. Those in Congress who are so taken aback...need to pay attention and do their homework. A repeat, we are tracked 24/7 by "private" corporations." They own and store forever...every sound and keystroke we utter and type while using their services along with every move you make and every habit you have so you can be targeted and marketed. . .those are the data bases the government is accessing. We should discuss how it's going...what standards and regulations need to be in place. But what i don't understand is what is the big surprise here. . .

Snowden is old enough to realize that he was giving information about our intelligence methods. would
cause great damage to our intelligence gathering methods. therefore he should be brought back and be
charge with adding and abetting the enemy. he is a traitor and be tried as such.

Noted. Thanks, Cal. Mr. Snowden is a whistleblower, basically in the same league with Daniel Ellsberg, Bradley Manning, Mark Klein, Thomas Drake, Bill Binney and others.
"My sole motive is to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them."

Snowden's so called whistle blowing has cost intelligence gathering in this country much and that means
spending tax dollars, just to figuring out news ways to try to see what the enemy is going to do. he has to be brought back to face what he has done to this country. I am retired military, if I had given out that kind of
information, they would have jacked the jail up threw me under and then thrown the jack away. Don't get me wrong I know of all the dirty stuff that this administration is doing lying about every thing, then trying to put the blame every one else. They don't realize, when you tell one lie that you wind up telling ten or twenty
trying to make the first one sound like the truth. Now can one say its not true, watch the news, the truth
tellers that is, not the ones that are in the tank.
