It is extremely saddening to think that we can only get people to care about the destruction of our ecosystem which has been going on for more than a century, about climate change, about the horrors that are coming if there is a profit in it for them. The drive for profits is what created this mess and continues to fuel it.

"In cities, around 60 per cent of the infrastructure needed to meet the needs of the world's urban population by 2050 still needs to be built, presenting significant business opportunities for greener urban construction and retrofits."

Yeah. And in our country our republican party still refuses ANY investment in our failing infrastructure, let alone investment in things that could ameliorate what is coming.

oh dear ! oh dear! - what might have happened if a nerd like Gore had been listened to -- oh I wonder! We've brought this on ourselves - I can at least say that "I didn't" but it's little to look at yourselves and start pointing the finger - because I sure as HELL am not to blame for the shit you've brought upon us!
