Cruelty beyond redemption - I hope the next time one of these savages hunt these beautiful animals they get eaten by one of them.

if there are survey results of no less than 60 puma and jaguar being killed over a two year period, in what way is this Brazilian national protection?

Why can't charges be brought against Brail for not protecting these animals as per agreement? They were killed because Brazil was obviously lax in protecting them.

I am past expecting any Latin American country to display any modicum of respect or dignity toward any animals. The atrocities committed against animals coming out of Latin American countries are an endless flow of sadistic brutality. I can't countenance it. Hopeless.

As 'The United States and Brazil have traditionally enjoyed cooperative, active relations encompassing a broad political and economic agenda' perhaps The U.S. Ambassador to Brazil Thomas A. Shannon, Jr.; can help by including animal welfare and voice our utter dismay at such continuing animal cruelty, habitat destruction and the lax Brazilian enforcement of animal protection legislation.

Horrible! Disgusting! No word is strong enough. They are killed in national "protected" areas in Brazil. Who protects those areas? How many people? Are they trustworthy? Those people should be easy to replace, shouldn't they?
