Thank you for the wonderful news! :) Unfortunately, the logging will continue in other areas. I guess we can't stop all logging, but we could switch to a more renewable wood like bamboo.

Thank you for this good news. I've read some articles about saved through their registration World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, but I had not yet seen it. This is a good thing for the forest and biodiversity undermined by human exploitation mismanaging the legacy that was left to us by our ancestors.

Great news, Cal! I know this one means a lot to you. Although it may appear that environmentalists won this one, I think it will take a great amount of diligence to maintain enforcement. Let's hope this happens.
