I always put 12345 for zip codes!

Let the jews stop what they are doing to the Palestinians FIRST before this is stopped. They have treated them abusively for decades and that must be stopped first. To stop their water, electricity, gas, movement - by keeping them as prisoners in their homes, that is wrong on every level and it has been going on incessantly and the world does nothing about this but keeps selling arms to Israel to allow them to do it. Never will I sign anything like this until this is completely stopped. People are moved from their homes so Israeli's can give their homes to jews. Are you surprised they're hated in the Islamic world and in other places around the world where the message has been spread?

Israel was only set up by one of the evil Rothschilds after he'd become a Lord in the UK parliament and requested this, possibly part of the plan as if you look into that families history you will find out a lot of horrific facts about how they are getting richer at everyone else's expense - read up on it and learn.

Take action indeed. Learn a little about what it's like to live on the other side first...

I wonder what would be coming out the mouth of Americans & Europeans if they lived the Occupied life as well. Wouldn't be pretty but somehow it would be justified...

There can never be peace in the region when people's minds are poisoned daily by racist bigotry...

We are all one. One world, one people and one God.

Absolutely NS&S!!! Far too many people, obviously including some members of Care2, don't recognize hatred, bigotry, and vicious self-serving dangerous propaganda when they see it.

Is it any wonder - I have seen enough harassing of Palestinian Israeli children, and Israeli police ignoring the problem to know that these children, and families experience strife and turmoil daily, from opportunistic bullies of all ages.
It is always necessary to consider the source(s) and know the full context, and verify information, since stories often have a spin of their own.
" we hope to pressure the Arab and Muslim leaders to modernize reform and promote tolerance."

The chances of "modernizing" and "reforming" are directly tied to Israel's agenda of undermining the plight of Palestinians within Israel, and without.
Israeli Palestinians are discriminated against in the Israeli banking system, making it difficult or impossible to start businesses or expand.
Israeli Palestinian children often have rocks thrown at their windows by Jewish children; they have to put wire mesh in front of their windows against this. In effect, their homes come to look like, and feel like prisons.
Israeli adults look on and do nothing, or the problem would have stopped. The goal is to make these people so uncomfortable and fearful for their children, as to drive them away. many settlers do this on a daily basis, as well as a lot of other malicious acts.
Israel is not just the cute tidy country travel agents, etc. depict.
If the aim is to promote tolerance, and not hasbara - then, it starts with recognizing that all children have basic rights, and destroying and "pressuring " Palestinian children and their families aggressively, on their own land, both within and without Israel, and destroying and robbing them of their livelihood, is the foremost cause of displacement and fracturing of Palestinian society.
This has, in effect, been in practice for about 60 years. So, to take a portion of one child's words (knowing it is that of a child, and does not present the context of what is being discussed in full) comes down to the responsibility of those that dissemble and wreck the lives of innocent children, and whose goals are not peace, but hostile and illegal control of resources and civil rights of children and others, who happen to be "Arab and Muslim".
If one wants to condemn a program for this, or children, or ask for "tolerance", it would seem this would start with "pressuring" the Israeli government. the IDF and Netanyahu to do so, and not allow Israeli settlers to annex and occupy Palestinian land, thereby squeezing the Palestinians off their land, and depriving them of their homeland, heritage and means of living!
I have seen enough live footage of IDF and Israeli disgusting abuse of authority, and disgusting actions. These are not children. If an Israeli child throws a stone it is alright; but Palestinian children, as young as 5 are terrorized for it!
That is just reprehensible! To think, that the U>S> pays for these loafers in uniform - standing around in groups all day, with nothing else to do, but look for some minor incident and use it to torment little kids, and satisfy a sense of protecting the "borders". It is pathetic beyond words.

If someone came and tore up all the fruit trees on your farm, poisoned the well, and poured raw sewage on your crops, then forced you out, would that be promoting tolerance? The answer is a resounding NO!

Signed without the slightest hesitation. Anyone who thinks this has any connection to the Arabs' hatred of Israel hasn't read the Koran. They simply hate Jews per se because that's what the Koran teaches them. They also hate Christians and other non-Muslims.
Thanks Cal.

Signed and noted...with some reservations:
However, I agree with Penny D and jessica b about what Israel has been doing with the Palestinians. Even now I doubt thay understand how the Palestinians feel, how they've been hounded and treated worse than slaves. It's as tho Israel wants to wipe Palestine off the map. Have never agreed with the US backing Israel in that "purge".

Not signed. Usually, I would sign a petition like this, but I feel that most people don't understand what prejudice Palestinians face on a daily basis and the conditions they are made to live under. While I don't agree with hate spewed anywhere, I feel that there is good cause behind it.

Not signed. it is more relevant and important to stop the Occupation, and all the related Israeli infractions and human rights abuses.
A step toward peace is to stop limiting freedom of movement, stop settlement building, and stop marginalizing and discriminating against Palestinian people, within, and without Isarel.
The level of control By Israel, and the fears projected onto others, who they threaten, is despicable.
The Israelis, who see that inclusion, not exclusion, is a healthier response to the "conflict", want peace.
Palestinians want peace. To say the contrary, is to project some excuse, or justification, to conceal the fact that many Israelis are terrified to share, or give up anything they have (however they got it), and of implementing any equitable changes and improvements of any kind that might not be beneficial to themselves.
"Conflict" does not resolve itself, anywhere. Conflict resolution and peace require honesty, determination, and "sacrifices". It is not about supporting the status quo, or any governing party that keeps up a policy of dominance and control
Albert Einstein: "You cannot simultaneously prepare and prevent for war'.

Israel has to make meaningful and real changes to how it has been treating the Palestinians, and controlling their lives, and demonstrate this. It starts with ending the abuses, and allowing new settlements, and showing accountability and responsibility for peace, if that is what the Israeli people truly want - not bashing Palestinians/Muslims, at every turn.
