Just weeks ago the kids in this image were gassed to death in their sleep, but it feels the world has forgotten them and got stuck in a debate between US strikes or doing nothing

No, we do not ever understand all of the factions. Many of which have Sarin. The rebels have had access to Sarin since May. Doing nothing militarily is the only sensible option.

Unfortunately, news makes headlines & is then confined to the scraphaep as something else "hits" the limelight & attention of media. Negotiated settlement without military strike is the only option.Military strikes only hurts the victims that are supposed to be protected. America is a big bully & there is a continuation of strikes started by the moron Bushes. What has changed & how has this bettered the lives of thousands in whose names military actions took place. America together with its non thinking allies are stuck in a no win situation. NO MORE MILITARY STRIKES NOT IN SYRIA NOT ANYWHERE ELSE.

Signed and noted. Thanks for sharing, Cal. Not sure it will do any good, though. Syria is already so messed up and not getting any better.

As the days go by, Obama is looking more and more like a man who REALLY can't make a decision. What is it going to take for this president to act? He is the leader of the free world, and has literally no evidence to support this. Is he waiting for a death total in round figures?
I don't mean to be cruel to what is happening in Syria, it just frustrates me to the point of anger.
This president needs to look back on past presidents who had a lot to lose, yet did the right thing:FDR, Truman, Kennedy (Bay of Pigs confrontation), LBJ, Reagan, Nixon, both Bush presidencies.
