Today, Iams still supports animal imprisonment in the name of research: hundreds of dogs and cats are kept in an Ohio laboratory for "nutritional studies." Iams refuses to allow organizations to investigate the animals living conditions

I find the actions of the company that manufactures Iams to be hypocritical. Is it their mission to promote and provide good nutrition for pets or make strays miserable? Gladly signed and noted!

Do you think people would really allow Iams to test food on their pets in their own home?

Action Taken.
Petition signed.
I agree with the panel, Iams pet food company needs
to reevaluate and prioritizes it's mainframe procedures
prior to serious litigation that may be brought upon them.
Whereas, if suitable evidence exists of animal abuse within
their "testing" facilities. They can be extensively penalized
and put a halt to their production...indefinite.
Further investigation may need to be required. Hearsay is not
admissible.
Thank you Cal for posting this story ~

"If the Ohio facility kept dogs in the type of environment that animal lovers would accept, the company would be open to a tour. However, Iams will not permit a tour of the facility."

That statement says it all. And of course I signed too.
