Yes, most of the fish are injured during capture......shocked by dynamite, percussion grenades. No limit to the cruelty through which all other species on the planet are made to suffer for human greed and amusement.

Pet stores need to stop carrying tropical fish, and people need to boycott Sea World and other amusement parks that purchase and display these fish. Thank you for exposing the sad news.

I don't have marine fish, but do have freshwater tropicals. They live quite a long time and can be bred in captivity.

Terrible! Aquariums should be shut down, that way, the fish won't die. Thanks for sharing, Cal.

Horrible that some people have such zero respect for life.

The stewardship of man to all living, breathing species, including their own, has truly bottomed out ... nothing but a fragile shell hellbent on self destruction, so hardened now that evem the in-your-face facts are ignored. Sad.

Yes i can quite believe it is true...and I have found out that when someone goes into the shop, they dont tell them what can live with what, they just sell them whatever they want..no wonder most of them die, some of them nibble others fins, some are aggressive, they sell you brackish water fish to keep in with fresh water fish...there are so many reasons why they die, that trading in tropical fish just shouldnt be allowed.
