I know no country trusts another - and logically so - but this has been taken to utter extremes!

Why should they listen to our innocent phone conversations and read our innocent emails - and WHERE does that data go later?! It could be leaked, sold to anyone under the sun - it is NOT good enough!

We used to be presumed innocent until proved guilty - now the rich are the only ones who can say that - the 99% are presumed guilty until proved innocent - and just you try proving a negative!

Noted. Thanks for posting, Cal. It's so good to see this! Wish I could've been there, too, but am on the other side of the country. But, at least I've signed the petitions. This must continue until we get a response in the form of new legislation in Congress that dumps the Patriot Act for starters. Bills initiated to rein in U.S. surveillance were nearly passed last summer....time for a nice, big renewed push!
